For any of you that's been a fan of this blog for a long time, you may remember the series of posts back in September in which I rode around on a bike looking for classic cars in my neighborhood. That was the first month of my blog, and barely anyone knew about it, but some still did. Anyways, I rode around my neighborhood and discovered around 15 classics, mostly Chevys, that I'd never known about before. Since then, I discovered a 1970 Chevelle on my own street and a Mercedes-Benz 450SL Coupe just a couple doors down.

But now I think I've discovered the rarest (not most expensive, but rarest) car in my neighborhood yet. I was alerted to a house by an eighties Alfa Romeo sedan in the driveway, which I'm pretty sure wasn't imported to the US, but that wasn't the half of it. In the garage was a 1976 Alfa Romeo Alfetta GTV, a little coupe that isn't particularly valuble (NADAGuides says $9,600 completely restored), but is pretty rare here in the States. Known for its curvy in the front, boxy in the back looks and sedan roots, this was the coupe version of the Alfetta that made much money for the company during the seventies. To find one in my neighborhood is odd. Photo from netcarshow.com
